Where the Lord Dwells

The Father dwells in a place untainted by sin, a place of complete beauty, goodness, truth, and love. It's a place we innately long for.

Where the Lord Dwells

More modern translations of The Lord's Prayer read, "Our Father in heaven." Traditional versions read, "Our Father, who art in heaven." Something I like about the traditional is the word who. The Father is not a force, but a person. Spirit, not human, but one person of the Trinity. We are related to him. We can trust him.

The Father dwells in a realm untainted by sin, a paradise brimming with beauty, goodness, truth, and love. Shalom. It's a place, a home, we innately long for.
